How Our Stained Glass Product Made?

Our stained glass pieces are crafted with traditional techniques that have been cherished for generations. Each design is meticulously hand-cut, skillfully wrapped in copper foil, and expertly soldered to perfection. This time-honored process ensures that every creation is truly one-of-a-kind, showcasing intricate details and vibrant colors that celebrate the artistry and dedication of our craft.

Why Oil is Applied to New Stained Glass?

It is quite normal for stained glass panels or lamps to have a light oil coating applied during the manufacturing process, especially in pieces that are newly made or recently soldered. The solder used to join the glass pieces, it can oxidize over time. The oil helps to prevent oxidation and keep the solder looking fresh and shiny. The oil can be easily removed using a clean damp cloth.

How To Test It's Real Stained Glass Product?

Our stained glass products are hand-cut into pieces, wrapped with copper foil, and then soldered together using heat. To verify the authenticity of our glass, you can use a lighter to heat it. If it were plastic, it would soften and melt, but glass has a much higher melting temperature. Alternatively, you can bring our product to your nearest stained glass studio for verification.

    Clean & Care Instruction:

    - Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe down the piece.
    - Apply a small amount of Glass Wax Sealer/Polish to another soft, clean cloth.
    - Gently rub the sealer/polish onto the surface in a circular motion, ensuring an even application.

    Color of Stained Glass

It's the nature of stained glass that the color of each piece may not be exactly the same as the others, even within the same color tone. This variability is what makes art glass so artistic and unique.

    Electrical Safety Certification

Our lighting fixtures are UL, CUL, or ETL certified.

Can I Display The Stained Glass Outdoor?

Stained glass works are indeed best suited for indoor or covered areas. This is because they are typically made from glass and can be delicate, making them vulnerable to weather conditions like rain, wind, and temperature changes if placed outdoors without proper protection.

If the solder becomes oxidized, it can be refinished with oil to help restore its appearance.
